Alton Towers
Enter the magical world of Alton Towers, over 125 rides and attractions themed into beautiful historic gardens and parkland. The ultimate in thrill sensations, you can fly the new generation rollercoaster Air, ride Rita, Queen of Speed or enter the fantasy world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. New for 2007 are the Haunted Hollow, Extraordinary Golf, and the Dung Heap adventure playground for younger children.
Why not make a stay of it? There are two unique hotels, a wet and wacky waterpark and a relaxing spa to add to your Thrill Hopper adventure.
Drayton Manor Theme Park
One of the premier theme parks in Britain, Drayton Manor features some of the wettest and scariest rides around! Apocalypse is the world's first stand-up tower drop and Stormforce 10, an exhilarating water ride. This year sees the launch of the massive ship known as The Bounty, a great new swing sensation. Drayton Manor Zoo is home to over a hundred species from around the world, with big cats, reptiles and endangered species.
SnowDome
The UK's premier real snow centre, a fantastic Alpine experience where you'll have an avalanche of fun all year round. A 170-metre real snow slope is the course for your toboggan rides, or you can try adrenalin tubing on a special course. Your Thrill Hopper will give you a taster for either of these activities - or you can extend your break and try other sports on offer. You can learn to ski* or snowboard, go ice-skating, or try the world's first indoor snowmobile track. There's even a children's snowplay area for the little ones too.* (* Please note: these activities are not included in your Thrill Hopper ticket.)
Waterworld
Dive into the subtropical warmth of Waterworld and discover the UK’s No.1 aqua park experience. Enjoy over 20 unique water rides, slides and rapids: the Space Bowl, the Black Hole, the Python, and Superflume. Ride Nucleus, the splashtastic indoor water rollercoaster. Zip down the fantastic white-knuckle ride ‘the twister’ – thrills and spills with lighting and sound effects. Go wet and wild in the Aqua Splash Jungle House. Or just relax in the spa and bubble pools.
